Team Manager - Safeguarding and Care Planning
Salary: Up to £54,262 per annum plus additional benefits

We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a registered Team Manager to join our Safeguarding and Care Planning Service at an Ofsted-rated "outstanding" Children's Social Care department. This role is ideal for a highly talented and ambitious individual ready to contribute to our journey towards excellence.
Day to Day of the role:
Lead and manage a Safeguarding and Care Planning team, ensuring high standards of practice and service delivery.
Supervise professional staff, providing guidance and support for complex cases.
Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
Implement and maintain quality assurance systems within the team.
Chair a range of professional, statutory, and interagency meetings.
Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
Contribute to the overall development of the service, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance.
Experience in supervising complex casework and undertaking contested care proceedings.
Proven ability in supervising, supporting, and coaching social workers.
Experience in practice teaching and raising practice standards.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
Registration with Social Work England or eligibility to obtain registration prior to commencement of employment.
