To contribute to the assessment process and implementation of Pathway Planning for Children in Care and Care Leavers by offering direct support, advice, guidance and practical help.
We are currently looking for a Personal Advisor for young people who are in care and care leavers.
As a Clinical Care Manager, you'll ensure smooth service delivery, fostering professionalism and reliability to enhance staff performance and client care.
Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, staffing coordination, quality monitoring, and record-keeping.
Collaboration with teams ensures optimal staffing levels.
As a personal advisor for leaving care, you will be working with a group of amazing young people who come from diverse backgrounds and who have a range of life experiences.
General
£17 per hour umbrella; Contract (6 months)
You will creatively source appropriate support with regards to suitable accommodation, education and employment opportunities as well as provide them with the emotional, social and practice skills to promote independent living.
Provide professional consultation, advice support and challenge to social work practitioners/ managers on critical child protection decisions, and on care planning for children in care (looked after per Children Act 1989).
Chair and minute Statutory Reviews for Looked After Children within agreed timescales so a care plan and permanency plan for each child is implemented without drift or delay.
Chair Child Protection conferences, identify risk and decide upon the need for a child to be subject to child protection plan, to ensure effective decision making about thresholds for child protection and child in need plans.
