Our Head Office accounts department is based in our new, modern offices in Stevenage and are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking individual to join our Finance team as an Asset and Funding Controller. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing funding lines, requesting settlements, asset management and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Team player The ability to use your initiative and have good problem-solving skills Be proactive and confident Persistence and determination To be thorough and pay attention to detail Excellent reporting skills A good knowledge of Excel with exceptional analytical skills Excellent verbal written communication skills Duties would include but not be limited to: - Reporting to the Finance Director Assisting with managing funding lines Adding new vehicles to assets register Assisting with managing the settlement and removal of vehicles from the asset register Processing of invoices Preparing payments Account reconciliations Importing Transactions The ideal candidate will have experience working in a accounts/finance team or as a minimum, AAT qualified. We are working exclusively with one of the big 4 in their search for a Financial Controller. This is a 6 month temporary role and will be working for a client of theirs within the automotive/manufacturing industry. This role is hybrid, working out of their London office 1 to 2 days per week, paying between £500 to £600 per day via umbrella. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for operational finance, budgeting and forecasting, financial control and supporting clients with growth and development. Ideally you will have industry experience in automotive or manufacturing, and be a qualified accountant.
