The role requires an enthusiastic, problem solving and motivated person capable of working collaboratively and on your own in a fast-paced environment. They have been established over 30 years and are an industry leading retail design and manufacturing house working on behalf of a number of prestigious bands globally. As a CAD Designer, you will: Create technical drawing packs and visuals that are used by our factory and external suppliers. Be able to build retail environments (windows, interiors & fixtures) using Solidworks (experience of other 3D modelling software will also be considered) Create technical drawings and production presentations using Solidworks for our production team based in our Yorkshire based factory. This would include liaising closely with the factory and Project Managers. Interpret client briefing and design projects by creating and developing solutions. Supporting the design team to ensure all projects are completed on time and to a high standard. Reporting to the Senior Technical design manager and Company Director in all aspects of creative projects. Responsible for organising and maintaining own diary dates and jobs. Carry out and organise site surveys and communicate the outcome to the relevant contact. Participate on installations when required. Plays an integral role in the organisation and delivery of 3D Design and Visualisation projects for clients. Liaising with our London based design team to deliver accurate and successful designs. Ability work on multiple project concurrently in a fast paced environment. As a CAD Designer, you will have: Good educational background, preferably in the creative fields. Proven working experience in Retail, Interior or Product Design or examples of projects using similar skillsets required. Excellent client facing communication skills. Proficient technical, creative, written and verbal communication skills. Passionate about design with solid management and organisational skills. Competent in software such as Solidworks, Keyshot, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
