Branch Manager Our client is an independently owned specialist distributor that supplies a multitude of industries including automotive, industrial, leisure, marine and mobility sectors. They pride themselves on providing a first-class service to customers across the UK and place their workforce at the heart of everything they do. As Branch Manager you will head up their flagship branch located in Bristol, overseeing a team of around 15. You will have a sales focus but also some prior experience of operational functions such as health and safety, budgets and forecasting. This role would suit an experienced Branch Manager that likes to retain a hands-on element to their job. What's in it for you? As Branch Manager, you will have previous experience in a management role, ideally you will have worked in a wholesale or distribution environment. Experience of working within electrical wholesale, electrical distribution, automotive parts distribution, industrial distribution, engineering supplies, builder's or plumber's merchants or tool hire is advantageous. The ability to develop business relationships, with a sales focus. An understanding of branch operations. What you'll be doing... Provide training, coaching development and motivation to the team. Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations. Liaise with buying and distribution teams at head office to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained.
