Responsibilities: As the Bookkeeper/Semi-Senior, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting tasks. Your exciting responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Raising invoices and skillfully entering purchases onto client accounts to ensure smooth financial transactions. Conducting bank reconciliations with precision, ensuring accuracy in financial data. Preparing weekly payment run reports, managing outgoing payments effectively. Assisting with setting up payments for suppliers and processing payroll with diligence. Tackling general accounts administration duties, keeping the financial operations running smoothly. Updating and maintaining client details on databases, ensuring data integrity. Providing essential admin support to the accounting team, contributing to seamless operations. Requirements: To excel in this role, the ideal Bookkeeper/Semi-Senior should possess the following qualifications and attributes: Previous experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles, demonstrating strong numerical skills. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools to manage financial transactions. Excellent organizational abilities, allowing you to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping. A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to assist the team as needed. AAT qualification or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential. A positive attitude and dedication to maintaining client confidentiality.
