Cunningham House in Edinburgh provides safe and supportive accommodation for homeless adults in Edinburgh and we are now looking for a Domestic Assistants to join the team and to help us to provide a safe and welcoming environment for those we support.
One of the key functions is that we enable those we support to make independent decisions and you will be part of that work, helping residents to become involved in domestic responsibilities and as such help them participate in looking after the unit.
Reporting to the senior person on duty, together with others, you will help keep the building in a clean, tidy and where necessary, hygienic state.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Skilled Gardener to join a large, semi-rural estate near Edinburgh.
Currently, the historic home and grounds are open to the public and it is the intention of the owners to eventually open the walled gardens, which have featured in both Country Life and Gardens Illustrated, for pre-booked tours and very occasional small events.
Encompassed within 150 acres of grounds, the main house is surrounded by extensive formal lawns which also feature the large driveway and an 18th Century stone pond.
