Cunningham House in Edinburgh provides safe and supportive accommodation for homeless adults in Edinburgh and we are now looking for a Domestic Assistants to join the team and to help us to provide a safe and welcoming environment for those we support. Reporting to the senior person on duty, together with others, you will help keep the building in a clean, tidy and where necessary, hygienic state.
One of the key functions is that we enable those we support to make independent decisions and you will be part of that work, helping residents to become involved in domestic responsibilities and as such help them participate in looking after the unit.
Ideally you will have similar domestic experience, but we are looking for people who can get involved and who can understand those who we support.
