Job Description: Job Title Corporate and Private Bank Strat Location London Corporate Title Associate Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank. Strats combine expertise in quantitative analytics, modelling, pricing, and risk management with deep understanding of system architecture and programming. Their primary output is a scalable and flexible Front Office pricing and risk management system. The technology platform underlies the trading functions of the Bank as well as management processes around the rational allocation of constrained resources, management of funding costs and capital efficiency programs. You will be responsible for implementing and the management of funding costs and capital efficiency programs across Corporate Bank & Private Bank business, as well as reporting of client profitability matrices. The role also requires providing expertise in quantitative analytics, modelling, pricing, and management of loan and mortgage portfolios to business desks, and to drive alignment across Front Office, Credit Risk Management, and Finance for financial resource calculations. Operations Officer Contract: 6-month term Day rate: £425, Umbrella Location: Liverpool Street, London Job Type: Hybrid (3 days a week in-office) Language Requirement: English speaking, fluency in French desirable A prestigious financial institution is seeking an Operations Officer for an initial 6-month contract. The role offers hybrid working with a base near Liverpool Street. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for a wide range of Middle-office and Back-Office processes and controls, including the administration of databases for various financial transactions. Day-to-day of the role: Process deal tickets, confirmations, and associated payments. Handle Treasury instruments in the Bank's core system, Calypso, including Money Market loans and deposits, Foreign Exchange, and Interest Rate Swaps. Process ALM trades and Home Loans and Public Sector instruments in Calypso. Support Front Office with documentation of intragroup deals. Verify counterpart confirmations, investigate discrepancies, and manage CTM confirmations. Monitor all payment advices sent via the Swift system, ensuring cut-off times are respected and funds are received. Prepare Certificate of Deposit instructions and manage settlements. Reconcile and process broker invoices. Manage corporate actions on Euroclear Connect. Calculate ALM Desk funding requirements and input related trades. Manage cash for the Branch Nostro and internal accounts. Reconcile the Bank's Nostro accounts. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in a similar role within Middle or Back Office operations. Proficiency in financial products such as Bonds, Loans, and Derivatives. Familiarity with financial processes supporting fund-raising activities. Strong knowledge of the Bank's core system, Calypso.
