I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to join a repeat client, who specialises in bespoke enterprise security systems. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in B2B sales, ideally within the technical, construction, security or IT sectors. This role involves working on high-value projects, generally ranging from £1M to £5M, and offers a lucrative commission structure. This is a Monday - Friday position, working from 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday (with 1 hour lunch break), and 8:30am-3:30pm on Fridays. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies for new business acquisition within the enterprise security sector. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients. Travel to client sites to understand their security needs and propose tailored solutions. Achieve and exceed set KPIs and sales targets. Provide exceptional customer service and support. Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within relevant industries. A valid driving license and vehicle. A track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs. Proficiency in cold calling and converting warm leads into sales. Willingness to travel and flexibility to work outside standard hours when required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision. Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM software is desirable. Previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing is advantageous but not essential.
