Job Title: Business Support Assistant Level Purpose of Job: As part of the wider Business Support team, the Business Support Assistant will provide flexible and resilient support to internal and external customers . This role involves delivering administrative, clerical, and other supportive functions. The successful candidate will contribute to excellent customer service within a cross-functional and multi-skilled team, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed standards and timescales. Main Duties: Work within a defined Business Support team providing support across various administrative and clerical functions, including but not limited to meeting support, data entry, general office support, and completion of specific service tasks. Support administration for complaints and applications for services. Compile performance information and assist in data entry. Arrange training sessions and meetings, and support their facilitation. Handle mail services and support compliance checks. Produce management information for customers. Perform typing services, filing, photocopying, and telephone cover. Conduct reception duties. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and management of documents, reports, and correspondence. Maintain and update records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers, providing information and assistance as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient operation of business support functions. Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role. Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the organization.
