The Facilities Manager will responsible for the day-to-day organisation of work and the allocation of tasks, the tracking of work progress, stock management, and ensuring that planned and reactive maintenance plans meet the needs of both the operational demands of the establishment as well as the contractual requirements set by the customer.

GBR Recruitment Ltd, are proud to be exclusively working in partnership with a leading Temporary / Semi-Permanent Structures Construction Company, recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (or Project Coordinator / Project Controller) to drive forward UK wide structural installations & ensure quality OTIF project delivery.
This is a key proactive Construction Project development role, liaising directly with main contractors, sub contractors, end using clients, materials & services suppliers etc.. ensuring all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle fit together, overcoming any issues along the way.
Along with strong Commercial Construction Project Coordination & AutoCAD / Sketch Up skills (some), you will also come from a strong Construction / Built Environment background, ideally with some knowledge of Groundwork's / Ground Investigations, Civils, Reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures, Steels & Timber-frames / Wooden Structures & Roofs (engineered timber panels) plus overall Construction phase processes (pre-construction, build phases to client handover).
Liaise with Milestone Project Managers and Build Managers on any on-site issues which have a commercial or operational implication.
Be the first point of contact for all on site steel/rooftop teams for build issues/queries.
Be the main surveyor for steel/rooftop works ensuring that all relevant information is captured and uploaded to FONN and reviewed with the Steel Ops Manager and Production Manager to ensure steel fabrication process can be implemented effectively.
Working for a large FM and Maintenance contractor delivering to the Ministry of Defence across two sites in Leicestershire & Rutland, managing two direct reports responsible for project delivery.
This role is subject to security clearance
