Location: Stottesdon/Kidderminster/Worcester Position: Full-time, 5 days per week Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Aspire are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, working with children who requires both educational support and personal care assistance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in SEN, looking for a rewarding role in an inclusive and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Support with Learning: Assist the child in accessing the curriculum, providing tailored support to meet their individual learning needs. Personal Care Assistance: Provide personal care support, including but not limited to toileting, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Classroom Support: Support the child within the classroom setting, ensuring they are included in all activities and working alongside the class teacher to meet their needs. Monitoring and Reporting: Track the child's progress, communicating effectively with parents and other professionals involved in their care and education. Promote Independence: Encourage the child's independence while ensuring they have the support they need to succeed. Ideal Candidate: Experience in SEN: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred, particularly in a classroom setting. Personal Care Experience: A willingness and ability to provide personal care (training will be provided if necessary). Compassionate & Patient: A caring individual who can form positive relationships with children and help them thrive in their educational journey. Team Player: Able to work effectively as part of a team, supporting both the child and the wider school staff.
