This exciting Assistant Management Accountant position will have the opportunity to develop their existing finance experience through overseeing AP and AR, whilst assisting with preparation of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting for a growing business, within an international finance team.

As the Assistant Management Accountant your responsibilities will include
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts by analysing financial data, performing balance sheet reconciliations, calculating accruals, and managing prepayments to ensure accurate reporting.
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you are responsible for accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, supporting the production of management accounts, and undertaking initial analysis as part of the monthly reporting processes.
In this 24-month fixed term contract role, you will support a directorate focussed Finance Business Partner team to provide accurate and timely management information, budget monitoring, analysis and advice to budget holders and key stakeholders, to ensure financial accountability and visibility.
You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial information and enabling timely and informed financial decision-making by budget holders and other stakeholders.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the month end financial statements for their publishing divisions, ensuring that the Commercial Directors, Head of Finance (Publishing), Group Financial Controller and CFO have all the information they require.

Preparation of month-end profit and loss accounts for publishing divisions, ensuring revenues and costs are accurately stated.
The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting management accounting and business partnering across the organisation while providing general accounting and analytical support to various departments.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and experience working in commercial environments.

Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts for allocated business areas including running of month end journal postings and processes.

Location: Home Based or Hybrid Working at any CQC office location.
Salary: £31,373 (National Framework) or £36,775 (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home.
