We are working on a lovely role within a well-established, very forward-thinking corporate company based in Central London, very close to public transport, in beautiful, modern offices. As the IT Administrator, you will be required to carry out administrative duties within the IT Services and Technology Department. The successful candidate shall be providing general office support to the IT Department Manager and team where needed, as well as assisting the IT Helpdesk with various administrative tasks. Main responsibilities within this opportunity include: Overseeing incoming correspondence and managing the department email inbox, responding in a timely manner according to individual queries and requests. Department mail management; the opening and distribution of post. Processing invoices on the in-house accounting system. This will include matching invoices with designated Purchase Order numbers. Dealing with invoice queries with both the internal accounting department and external suppliers. Obtain quotes from hardware suppliers prepared for approval from budget holders/Department Managers for Hardware and Software licences and packages. Monitor deliveries of IT hardware and items and assign to relevant users. Add information related to subscription licences onto the relevant portal and assign to users for set-up. Collecting Hardware and stock deliveries from the post room and distribute to users / IT staff. Overseeing stock levels. Managing hardware stock and placing orders. Logging spend/costings and handling general budget control for IT purchases. Manage IT support schedules. Manage stationery and perishable stock. Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when required. Working in conjunction with IT Support and aiding the team as needed. Document management using SharePoint. Managing Laptop, tablet and mobile telephone repairs. What We Require of You: A proficiency in IT with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ideally 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English. Well organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload. Must be flexible and willing to learn. Excellent communication skill and must be able to use own initiative. An interest and knowledge in IT would be desirable This is a full time, office based permanent role. Hours are 09:00 to 17:30 and comes with excellent benefits and opportunities!
