To assist in the management and control of all activities within the inloading and outloading areas to ensure that performance and objectives are achieved in a fully effective and efficient manner.

You will need to be flexible with your availability as this is an extra role due to expansion in the department and you will be supporting both the front and the back shift.
It might also involve an element of weekend working but as it is a new role, the exact shift pattern has yet to be confirmed.
As an Assistant Depot Manager, you will support your Depot Manager with the day-to-day running of the depot, and you will always identify and suggest new opportunities to grow sales.
The support you offer your Depot Manager can range from reviewing the P&L to recruiting, leading by example, and motivating the team in order to achieve and exceed sales targets by building strong working relationships with the local trade.
