Accounts Payable Manager Blackburn, Lancashire £34,000 - £38,000 DOE We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to support the Head of Transactional Finance in managing the accounts payable team. The role holder will be responsible for making accurate payments to all creditors, within the agreed contract terms and in accordance with company's policies. As an Accounts Payable Manager you will be... Responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounts payable team, including regular meetings, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews Ensure the creditors ledger is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescales Accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions Ensure smooth operation of the weekly & monthly payment runs Guarantee that creditors & employee expenses are paid accurately and on time Manage processes within the team to ensure month end deadlines are met Ownership of the Purchase Order & Expenses systems to ensure best practice throughout the business Build relationships with Key Suppliers, Sub-Contractors and Senior Leadership Team Provide technical accounting advice on the financial transactions and ensure accurate coding of invoices Run reports from SAP, Purchase Order & Expenses systems and assist with variance Ensure monthly reconciliations are carried out Manage the integration of tasks related to Accounts Payable for new acquisitions As an Accounts Payable Manager you will need...
