An IT company based in Oxfordshire if currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for an initial 6 month fixed term contract. This global organisation has an excellent culture and there is potential for the role to be extended or be made permanent. They are highly flexible and offer a hybrid working arrangement of 1 2 days a week on site. You would be reporting to the finance director and working closely and supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate would be CCAB part qualified at least with some business partnering experience. You would be self-driven, have a proactive approach and a passion for learning. Responsibilities include: Monthly reporting packs Produce and review monthly reporting. P&L reviews with FD & India Balanced Scorecard Monthly Budget Holder performance reviews, i.e. cost centre reviews. Costs Monthly review with Cost centre managers To include capturing and reviewing key KPI's Lead & carry out monthly Forecasting and annual budgeting Liaise with India and other FBP's to enhance models to FBP/cost centre manager specification Enable monthly reviews with cost centre/functional cost owners to review actuals and to forecast cost requirements Proposition support Support the propositions team in producing investment business cases including ROI evaluation Enable a reporting and review framework to review on-going investment projects They would ideally like to fill this the position ASAP so if you have the right skills, experience, attitude and are immediately available (or on a short notice period), APPLY NOW and we'll be in touch.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Homelessness Prevention - Early Intervention Team supporting residents of Oxford to sustain their tenancies. The Early Intervention Team are part of the Homelessness Prevention Team in the Housing Needs Department at Oxford City Council. They are responsible alongside the other homelessness prevention teams for duties placed on local authorities to prevent homelessness in accordance with Housing Act 1996 Part 7 (as amended). The team works with certain clients to ensure that the client receives support to prevent homelessness. They also work with clients to assess needs due to issues with the affordability of a tenancy, this may be due to rental shortfalls such as the Benefit Cap, Local Housing Allowance or the Bedroom Tax, or due to issues with Universal Credit.
