Veritas Education is currently recruiting for Youth Support Workers (YSW) in Kirklees to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a specialist school.
Daily Rate: £85-£100 a day.
You will be joining a team of experienced SEN teachers and Behaviour Support Workers.
You will be working for a local contractor on multiple social housing contracts within the Yorkshire area, working on behalf of local councils doing repairs and maintenance, including testing.
Veritas Education are searching for SEN support workers to support primary and secondary aged children with complex SEN and medical needs in a specialist school.
The learners attending the school have a variety of different needs, including Autism, SEN, Communication Needs, PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and medical/mobility needs too.
The school focuses on the individual needs of each student, giving them opportunities to gain a variety of qualifications and routes to employment.
Engage Education is currently in partnership with an alternative provision which caters to boys and girls aged 7 to 16 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as other complex needs often associated with autistic spectrum conditions and learning difficulties.
They provide bespoke support, with creative learning and targeted interventions being at the forefront of their learning.
We work closely with specialist schools and Alternative Provisions to deliver the best learning experiences and support systems, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our special schools and Alternative Provisions in Kirklees.
