The business development function assists in generating leads and creating new business as well as improving existing services to clients. The primary aim is to promote business growth and expansion. As a Business Development Executive, you will have ownership of the following tasks: Supporting the Director & marketing team in the use of products and content for client engagement purposes. Undertaking analysis of internal and external data sources to meet service line and sector needs. Supporting the Director on client relationship management and activity as directed. Supporting the Director on preparation for pipeline review meetings including maintaining the pipeline. Drawing together market intelligence and liaising with the Director regarding target information to support the sales process. Undertaking follow-up actions to networking and marketing activity to generate appropriate meetings with clients, active targets and intermediaries. Developing an understanding of each service line and keeping up to date with industry developments bringing these to the attention of relevant stakeholders. Understanding the issues and opportunities facing the service lines to support them with growing and developing the business. What experience do I need? If you meet some or all the criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you: A professional with business development/sales/marketing experience at the assistant or executive level, preferably from a professional services background. A professional, credible and confident communicator with strong influencing skills and the ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels within the firm. Experience in supporting projects and multiple relationships, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. Strong written English language skills, and an ability to write clearly and concisely. Excellent attention to detail. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload. Well-organised with a proactive approach. A strong grasp of Word and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. CRM software experience is advantageous but not essential. What's on offer?
