Lead supplier reviews, acting as an escalation point for contract-related issues. Assess the opportunity to maximise scale and work with my clients international teams and subsidiary businesses. Review existing and potential new suppliers and assess their sustainability to supply, minimising risk, and optimising service. Using good judgement, build new and develop existing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and create greater value across the organisation. Experience in developing talent to grow our capability with creative and ambitious opportunities. Procurement management, contract management and negotiation skills, experience of managing large multi-million-pound sourcing events. Strong commercial acumen A character with drive and resilience Ability to influence and challenge the norm. Able to bring new concepts and ideas to life and bring senior colleagues on board. Capability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, driving innovation across the category. Experience in a retail procurement role is welcomed but not crucial.
