Job Title: People Manager, Engineering Project Management Group
Salary: Circa £60,000 depending on experience
Contract: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – such as being onsite when necessary to work with people and collaborate, then working from home and around family commitments to be your most efficient. Typically this could be 3 days a week in the office due to workload classification.
Working Pattern: This role could be full time or part time: 4 or 5 days per week. We are flexible and accommodating.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven People Manager who is passionate about managing the performance and development of people to lead our Engineering Project Management Group.
Your role will be to:
- Provide leadership and functional line management for our Engineering Project Manager (EPM) team, to meet a dynamic environment delivering equipment critical to the defence of our nation and its front line forces.
- Lead and support the EPMs to deliver complex engineering solutions on time, on cost, on quality.
- Develop the team's capability, motivate, retain, and grow the team to meet the workload forecast and delivery needs of the business.
- Deliver high quality development and performance evaluations in order to maximise the potential of our people for today and for the future.
- Initiate and manage EPM development and generic delivery team improvement initiatives.
