Position: Finance Administrator Location: Redditch Salary: £14-£15 per hour Hours: Monday Thursday 8am 5pm / Friday 8am 1pm Responsibilities: Prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Prepare and review financial statements as needed. Process purchase invoices, matching them to purchase orders and delivery notes. Maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. Handle sales invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing to customers. Reconcile sales ledger accounts and address any outstanding balances. Assist with credit control activities, following up on overdue payments. Assist with month-end processes. Support the finance team in ad hoc tasks and projects. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role is desirable. Familiarity with Operah / SAGE 50 or equivalent payroll and accounting software. Accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Comfortable working with financial data and performing calculations.
