A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Part-Time EA & Bookeeper to join an innovative and progressive technology solutions company in Windsor. This is a 12-month contract initially and would be ideal for someone who is enthusiastic and personable with all-round EA experience including some Bookkeeping. £30k pro rata (£30k is full-time salary). 12-month contract (maternity cover). 3 days per week, 9am - 5.30pm. Office-based in Windsor. Parking is provided but not onsite. Supporting the CEO/ Executive Team with administrative duties. General office management and administration. Managing contractors. Bookkeeping. Supporting the HR function including onboarding. Timesheet billing. Managing and updating CRM system (Salesforce). Manage team performance and organisational procedures. Responsible for Health and Safety, implementing and updating the manuals. Listening to colleagues to remove or adjust any requirements for a better workflow. Learning daily process within each department. Building own knowledge base with self-learning of new systems. Support the team as well as actively using training resources available. View any problem that may arise and/ or implement change before a problem arises. Skills: Experience in a similar role is essential. Excellent working knowledge of MS office and Excel. Proficiency in Salesforce & Xero is essential. Able to work to tight deadlines. Fast-learner. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, enthusiastic with genuine initiative. Delivery of high customer service levels. The Role As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for a diverse range of financial duties crucial to the smooth functioning of the Windsor Castle financial apparatus. Your key responsibilities include: Production of Periodic Management Accounts: Compile monthly management accounts to provide insights into financial performance. Summary of Fund Statement: Generate monthly summaries of fund statements for a comprehensive overview. Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile all bank accounts and control accounts, swiftly resolving any issues or errors. Accounts Receivable and Payable Administration: Administer accounts receivable and payable functions, including banking and payment processing. Annual Accounts and Audit: Produce annual accounts for the Clerk of Accounts and provide supporting schedules for audit purposes. Liaise with auditors during year-end audits. Budgeting: Develop and produce annual budgets to guide financial planning and decision-making. VAT Returns: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Gift Aid Administration: Coordinate Gift Aid administration, submitting half-yearly applications to HMRC for Gift Aid. Insurance and Asset Management: Collaborate with the Clerk of Accounts to ensure appropriate insurance arrangements and records are maintained. Maintain and update fixed asset registers, arranging updates on investment asset valuations. Process Improvement: Review accounts payable processes, recommend improvements, and implement agreed-upon solutions. About You The ideal candidate for this role will be a Newly Qualified Accountant or a Strong Finalist with experience in producing Management Accounts, coupled with proficiency in SageLine 50. Desirable qualifications and experience would include a background in producing or auditing statutory charity accounts, with a solid understanding of Charity SORP (FRS 102).
