We are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a local company to play a crucial role in supporting our Head of Finance with the implementation of finance processes and the management of our finance system, Xledger.
This position is integral to our financial operations, encompassing a range of responsibilities from reporting and finance partnering to supervising a small transactional finance team.
Due to growth, our client, a market-leading supplier, are looking to bring an Accounts Assistant into their Colchester office.
The successful candidate will support the Finance Team in the timely processing and management of the Purchase Ledger function, controlling all aspects of cash flow preparation and processing of payments.

This role offers the opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in accounts processes, including sales and purchase ledger, credit control, reconciliations, and preparation for month-end and year-end.
