Job Title: Accountant & Back Office Location: Hybrid with 4 days from home and 1 from the office (Milton Keynes) Salary: £40K. Contract - Maternity cover, 5 months starting from July 2024. The UK team is currently looking for an Accountant / Back Office (maternity cover) to look after the accountancy of the UK and Northern Europe. Our client is an international supplier of intralogistics solutions to optimise the supply chain of warehouses and manufacturing operations worldwide. Key responsibilities in Accounting, Finance and Controlling: Active invoicing Registration of passive invoices General accounting duties VAT, Intrastat and CIS Registration of orders Liaising with Tax Advisory team for tax issues and preparation of financial statements (monthly and annually) Transmission of financial statements to parent company Sending and reconciling intercompany data to parent company Good Excel knowledge Credit cards check Finance & General Support Liaising with suppliers and with the purchasing department Operation duties e.g. management of home banking, payments and liaising with the bank Support for various other activities e.g. new office agreements, contracts Controlling: Orders checking and status Reporting package management Support for forecast and budget activities Customer service team support Liaising with customers and Italian customer service team - Italian language skills are desirable but not compulsory Issue of purchase order to parent company Issue of confirmation orders to customers If you are interested in this job, please carefully read the JD and apply if your experience is relevant.
