Leading audit and assurance engagements from inception to completion, involving year-end procedures, risk assessment, audit planning meetings, delegation of fieldwork, file review, feedback, and communication of audit issues to clients. Supervising the preparation of company accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 (1A), and FRS 105, including planning, task delegation, resource allocation, review, and feedback to junior staff. Crafting consolidated group accounts, covering investments in subsidiaries and associates, along with changes in non-controlling interests. Preparing and filing corporation tax returns, addressing complex tax matters when necessary. What I need from you: ACA or ACCA qualified, possessing a strong academic record and over 3 years of post-qualification experience. Extensive background in general audit and accountancy, with expertise in corporate tax. Effective client service skills and the ability to take ownership of assignments, demonstrating initiative and creativity. Proficient in coaching and delegating to staff, with the capability to organise and review the work of junior team members. Strong communication skills for verbal and written interactions with clients and the creation of complex reports. Flexible work attitude, adept at managing multiple clients simultaneously. Organised and methodical approach to tasks. Good IT skills, ideally familiar with CCH Audit Automation or similar software, and proficient in Excel and Word.
