Duties
Receive Architect's drawings and turn them into X-refs for our use.
You will be contributing to the production and checking of approval, fabrication, and construction drawings to standard within a given programmed time.
Contribute to the accurate compilation and checking of Bills of Materials/Parts lists for customer specific orders and effective release to production ensuring that these always reflect the current supply situation.
To liaise with team members, customer representatives and manufacturing staff to ensure that the relevant information is available to manufacture the product effectively and in compliance with structural, cost, and contractual obligations.
As a Design Technician within our Pre-Con Design team, you'll play a crucial role in translating client and architect requirements into detailed designs.
Your responsibilities will include attending design workshops, producing accurate stage 3 information, creating drawings for tenders, and supporting the Estimating team with your technical expertise.
Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the Product Development team to innovate new solutions and manage mock-ups and samples throughout the business.
