An exciting opportunity has arisen to join my client as a Junior CAD Technician.
This will be a technically varied role with the chance to be exposed to some of the most prestigious construction/fitout/refurbishment projects across a broad range of market sectors in and around London
Duties:
- Receive Architect's drawings and turn them into X-refs for our use.
- Create/maintain our companies Audio Visual, Passive Infrastructure, Security & Smart building drawings.
- Help maintain/improve standards across all drawings.
- Make sure all information on the drawings is up to date and correct before issuing.
- Assist the consultants with any design requirements they need i.e equipment detail drawings, SER layouts etc.
- Attending meetings where applicable.
Skills / Requirements:
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD.
- Experience with working with floor plans and elevations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel.
- Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Time Management - able to work to a deadline.
- Good Communication Skills.
