We are currently recruiting on behalf of our key client based in Knottingley who have an urgent requirement for a Production Operative - immediate start. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. The main duties are (but not limited to)- Assist with stock taking checks Assisting with tinting the materials according to the given recipe Maintenance of the safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and lab procedures Follow the Waste Management procedures Reworking/adjusting the returned materials from customers Operating the Corob/Dromont tinting machine Maintaining the machinery (dispensers, mixers, shakers) clean and in working condition General housekeeping duties - making sure the workplace is kept tidy Ad-hoc warehouse duties Person spec:- Experience in a similar role Following all safety procedures in place Organised with a good eye for detail Ability to work to deadlines Excellent communication skills/team player Safety boots
