We are currently recruiting on behalf of our key client based in Knottingley who have an urgent requirement for a Production Operative - immediate start.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
The main duties are (but not limited to)-
- Assist with stock taking checks
- Operating machinery
- Maintenance of the safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and procedures
- Dealing with waste products
- Sorting out returns
- Reworking/adjusting the returned materials from customers
- Maintaining the machinery (dispensers, mixers, shakers) clean and in working condition
- Making sure the workplace is kept tidy
- Ad-hoc warehouse duties
Person spec:-
- Experience in a similar role
- Following all safety procedures in place
- Organised with a good eye for detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills/team player
- Safety boots
