My client a well established manufacturing and distributing company based in the heart of Altham, Lancashire is looking for a number of skilled Production Operator to join machine and production room. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will contribute to the success of our production process. This company operate on 12 hour shifts, 4 days or 4 nights a week. The hours are set 6am-6pm on days or 6pm-6am on night. When with the agency the hours are flexible working on a rota. Call for more information on these times. Duties: - Operate and monitor machinery and equipment in accordance with production guidelines - Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance - Package and label goods coming off the machines - Inspect finished products for quality assurance - Troubleshoot and resolve basic errors - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Skills: - Proficiency in packaging and palletising stock - Strong understanding of materials handling and storage procedures - Ability to read and follow instructions well - Knowledge of production and machine minding - Familiarity with counting stock and packing Requirements: - High school qualifications in English and Maths - Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
