This role involves providing occupational therapy for students at our client's school, which educates pupils aged 3-19 with autism and learning disabilities from across London and the Home Counties.
Support class teams in creating enabling environments and reducing occupational barriers to the curriculum.
Band 6 Occupational Therapy, ASAP, 7.5 hrs - 5 days per week, 3 months rolling contract, Duties include: To carry a varied clinical caseload of care of the elderly patients, varied caseload, Complex MDT discharge planning, Functional / Cognitive Ax Rehabilitation, Complete Access visits and provide equipment.
Skills required: Complex discharge planning and complex functional assessment skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialist Occupational Therapist to work as part of a therapy team in our Primary and Secondary Specialist School which provides flexible day placements for students aged 6-16 years with complex care needs including behaviours that challenge and learning disabilities, often in association with autism spectrum conditions.
