A global luxury retailer is looking to recruit a night manager to work in one of its multi-million pound flagship sites. The company is the market leader in travel retail, specialising in beauty and luxury goods. It is renowned for offering exceptional customer service standards in its stores and have a reputation for treating their employees exceptionally well, whilst being focused on internal development, bringing talent through the ranks. This organisation continues to perform exceptionally well and are beating sales expectation year on year. The role of night manager will oversee all back of house functions within a store that has a turnover in excess of £90 million per year. You'll be part of a management team who focus on replenishment, range reviews, promotional merchandising management, health and safety and store administration. This role would suit a manager who enjoys the operational aspects of running a business retail unit. The ideal candidate will come from a retail background and have had exposure to working in a back of house environment or will enjoy the operational side of retail.. You'll be an experienced people manager who has a natural leadership style that can motivate their team to deliver the world class store standards. In return they are looking to pay a salary of up to £32,000, a night allowance paying 40% between the hours of midnight and 4am and 20% between 4am and 6am. There is a performance related bonus of up to 12% of your salary. You will also be given the autonomy to make decisions within your department that you wouldn't necessarily get elsewhere. A fantastic opportunity for a personable Night Manager to join our client, a luxury residential community in Windsor. Working four nights on/ four nights off, the successful candidate will be a key part of the front of house team as the residents' first point of contact and is responsible for night-time security and building management. Ensure deliveries and post is distributed according to company guidelines. Deal with complaints or problems and escalating when necessary. Be prepared to work additional hours if required. Other duties as required. Key skills: Customer-focused with a personable attitude. Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position. Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment. Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/ protocols. Surveillance skills and detail orientation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English (oral and written). Integrity and professionalism. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
