This job role will see you working full-time and on a year-long contract with the school, with the possibility of this role turning permanent for the right candidate. Your new role By taking on the job role as class teacher, you will be fully responsible for planning and delivering fun and engaging lessons for pupils, as well as, being adaptable to meet the needs of the pupils. You should hold good knowledge of KS2 in order to prepare this year 5 for their final year in primary school and SATs. You will also be expected to attend staff meetings and parents' evenings. We are working in partnership with a community-based St Helens Primary school to recruit an energetic KS2 crossover teacher to start in conjunction with September 2024 half-term. A successful candidate should be able to interview quickly with a view to starting their new role in conjunction with term commitments. The role will see you taking full teaching roles and responsibilities across years 4 and 5 with mixed ability children as they settle into KS2. Your new role will include all aspects of lesson planning and preparation. You will deliver it to KS2 pupils and follow the values and standards of the school. You will be engaging in and monitoring behaviour management in a variety of ways and incorporating a myriad of Behaviour for Learning methods. You will be ensuring pupil engagement and differentiating material to suit attainment needs. You will be required to collaborate with other staff members to boost student engagement. What you will need to succeed. Recent experience of Teaching in Primary school. Provide relevant references. Have QTS or ECT status. Knowledge of Primary curriculum.
