Qualified Nursery Assistant (Level 2 or 3) Location: Kempston, Bedfordshire Job Type: Full-time Start Date: April 2024 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive nursery in Kempston. If you are eligible to work in the UK and hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, we would love to hear from you. Day-to-day of the role: Support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and room leads in setting up engaging and innovative activities. Engage with children on a whole group or one-to-one basis, both inside and outside the classroom. Contribute to a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities. Ensure the safety and well-being of the children, meeting their individual needs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one. Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs. Two recent professional references. Experience with behaviours that are challenging. A calm and caring personality. Strong and resilient character, committed to pupils' development. Proficient in reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
