We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistants (Bank Staff) to join our supportive team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a genuine interest in contributing to the early childhood education and development of young learners. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.

**Day to Day of the role:

  • Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and curriculum to foster the children's development.
  • Supervise and interact with children during playtime, mealtimes, and other daily activities.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide basic care needs such as changing diapers, feeding, and assisting with potty training.
  • Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other staff members.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to ensure up-to-date knowledge of best practices and policies.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
  • A good understanding of child development and the ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures.
