The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.The importance of your role. It's all about providing health advice through focussed conversations with our patients, whilst giving clear and accurate answers. Your duties will include: Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave your pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised. You will need to have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and may currently be or have previous experience of working as a Pharmacy Dispenser to join us.To work within our dispensaries, you also need to have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent. However, if you have not previously completed this, we'll support your development to complete our training within 6 months of joining us.If you are interested in further developing your professional career, we can support you towards achieving both competency and knowledge based NVQ Level 3 (QCF) qualification in Pharmacy Services to become eligible to register with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician. This could then lead to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. Laboratory Scheduler This is a permanent role. Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday 4.00PM-12.00PM. Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a global water testing laboratory who are looking for a laboratory scheduler to join their team based in Slough. Key responsibilities To organise and support the scheduling teams during the day and night shift Ensure all samples are registered on time Manage all KPI and activities within the sample scheduling team Sorting and managing samples that arrived to the site Add samples details into the LIMs system .First point of contact for all external client enquires Requirements Previous experience in working sample reception or sample preparation laboratory role desired. However happy to consider candidates from other backgrounds such as food production, warehouse with excellent experience in scheduling and people management. Excellent written and communication skills Previous experience in working within customer services role is highly desired since part of the role would be to resolve external client queries Excellent attention to detail Experience in working in fast paced environment It is essential that you can do Tuesday to Saturday 4.00-12.00PM shift
