We're excited to offer two long-term contract positions for Trainee Sensory Panelists as part of our newly established global beverage enterprise. Your role will play a pivotal part in gathering crucial data to steer business decisions and shape our client's product development strategies.

  • *Job Description:**

As a Trainee Sensory Panelist, your responsibilities will include:

- Participating in comprehensive product and sensory-related training, and effectively applying this knowledge to daily tasks.
- Evaluating and characterizing both existing and new products and brands.
- Maintaining a high level of scientific precision and controls expected of a sensory panelist.
- Undertaking other duties related to the upkeep of the sensory laboratory and panel, as directed by the panel leader.

  • *Candidate Requirements:**

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

- General good health, with no allergies or intolerances, and good dental health.
- Attention to detail, coupled with strong perceptual and descriptive abilities.
- A passion for product evaluation and a willingness to explore new sensory experiences.
- Willingness to sample a diverse range of tastes and ingredients.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective team communication.
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback on performance, training, and calibration in a positive and professional manner.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent punctuality.
- Flexibility to participate in testing at short notice and adapt to changes in panel composition.
- Ability to consume caffeine and alcohol as part of the role.
