About Us: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Learning/Behaviour Mentor to join a school, working in the vibrant Borough of Hounslow, London.
Type: Full-Time (with potential for Permanent)
Students, aged between 5 - 24 years old, present a diverse range of special needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), Autism, Learning Difficulties, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour.
Learning and Support Mentors (No School Experience Necessary) Required for SEN School in Croydon
About the role
This Learning and Support Mentor role is based in a supportive and proactive SEND/PRU school in Croydon.
They are seeking people with experience as a Warden, a Deputy Warden/Assistant Warden, Rehabilitation Specialists, Case managers, Correction officers, Probation officers, Parole officers, Prison guards, Patrol Officers, Prison Officers, Youth workers, Social workers, and Sports coaching to work with a wide range of needs, from children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs to more Sensory Behavioural Difficulties linked to Autism.
We are looking for passionate individuals who want to begin working and training as Behaviour Mentors to support our local SEND Schools in Surrey by helping children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) and some Complex Needs (Hearing impairments, Autism, Speech and language delay, ADHD).
Applications for the position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience, and training will be provided, although previous experience working with students with SEMH, particularly challenging behaviours and Trauma & Attachment will be helpful.
We are looking for passionate individuals who want to begin working and training as Youth Engagement Mentors to support one of our SEND Schools in Reigate by helping students aged from 11 to 18 years with social, emotional and mental health needs, alongside autistic spectrum conditions or characteristics, including ADHD.
