Are you an experienced administrator ideally with knowledge of the Mental Health Act or a qualification in it - looking for a new challenge?
As the Mental Health Act and Administrator you will work as part of the administration team at a 12-bed general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18, where you will work 37.5 hours a week (Maternity Cover 10 months) ensuring the department upholds a confidential and efficient service in accordance with the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended November 2007).
You will be responsible for managing and analysing Mental Health Act correspondence and documentation, this includes undertaking assessment requests, transfer of authority, consent to treatments, renewals of detention, consent to treatments and arranging hearings, tribunals and appeals.
