Mechanical Supervisor required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps.
It is envisioned that the successful candidate will come from a background in Marine or HGV Engineering, have completed a Mechanical apprenticeship, have experience in Team management as a Mechanical Supervisor previously and be based within a commutable distance of Glasgow.
The successful Candidate will be overseeing a range of remedial work undertaken at my client's Glasgow site as well as getting involved with some of the maintenance work themselves.
Ensure that all planned maintenance is carried out in accordance with the relevant procedures that are in place.
Take a positive approach to issues that may occur on the plant and detail this to the Maintenance Manager, so that plans can be made in advance of a planned shut-down to remedy the problem.
Keep and maintain all maintenance records for the site ensuring that all relevant documentation is filled in and filed in the appropriate manner.
