Working with a global manufacturing company within their technical operations based in Gillingham, as Mechanical Hardware Design Engineer, you will be based within the electronics engineering team to develop mechanical designs which fulfil customer and legislative requirements in a high-quality, high-volume manufacturing environment.
The role
Develop new mechanical designs and evaluate customer and internal requirements and identify gaps to current products.
Prepare product designs to meet internal and customer requirements.
We are currently working with an organisation in Gillingham who are looking to hire a Mechanical Hardware Design Engineer to develop new mechanical designs for ECU.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design of diesel fuel injection system components.
This role will be suited to a keen and enthusiastic project engineer in either electrical or mechanical engineering, looking to further the career project Management.
The ideal candidate shall have experience in project management and /or a manufacturing or engineering environment and ideally have some experience working with some or all the following areas and systems:
Reporting to a Project Manager, you will work closely with technical sales, Design and Production to help you with the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects.
