With a background in chemistry / materials our client is looking for a chemist /materials scientist / or laboratory technician who would like be part of a global organisation supporting R&D Technical Support and the development and qualification of new materials and formats with the laboratory function for Materials, Product Development Projects, Qualifications and Failure Investigation.
In this role, reporting to the Head of Product Development, you will take the lead in defining and managing the materials identification process.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader you will be an integral part of the small manufacturing team involved in the inspection, cleaning, assembly, and testing of Owlstone product ranges.
To succeed the candidate will require the ability to follow well defined processes, demonstrate good electro-mechanical assembly skills, can adapt to changing demands and communicate well within a small team.
You will be expected to carry-out a cross-functional role to ensure all products are made and tested to the relevant internal quality standards.
