You will be responsible for the placement and scheduling of purchase orders for a range of materials, including chemicals, facing, packaging and consumable items used in our manufacturing process and to maintain the correct inventory levels of these materials.
As the Materials Controller you will be working in the Operations Team, based at our Castleblayney site working 39 hours per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Review Material requirements planning (MRP) system, this includes making communication with Sales teams and Production Planning and tracking project requirements.
The role of Material Controller is key to the success of the business, providing leadership, direction and clear focus on planning, production, control and shipping and receiving materials control functions, ensuring the right material arrives on time every time, whilst ensuring inventory levels are kept to a minimum in line with set targets.
