Marketing & PR Officer profile: To develop and execute an effective marketing strategy for organisation and related entities, lead on all Marketing and PR activities. Enhance the brand and its entities locally, regionally and nationally creating a strong brand identity. Main responsibilities of the Marketing & PR Officer: Develop, manage and implement a full marketing strategy to support its academies and corporate offer, identifying key marketing campaigns and activities, in conjunction with relevant staff as necessary. Manage and co-ordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities, liaising with internal colleagues and external agencies as required. Work with the Central Executive Team (CET) to ensure that all sites receive applications and convert these to enrolments in line with agreed targets. To develop effective press and media relations activities, identifying opportunities to influence the media and develop and maintain effective relations with journalists and others. Ensure effective and consistent branding across all marketing communications, including the website, social media, advertising, communication and print. Manage the budget for marketing and deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget. Conduct market research to determine market requirements, market conditions and competitor information, with specific regard to student recruitment. Raise the profile of and develop online presence through the effective use of social media as a marketing and communication tool. Nurture successful student acquisition channels and identify and harness new channels. Proactively seek out and manage opportunities to publicise and celebrate aspects of life across settings and promote public relations opportunities, including coordinating photo shoots; maximising opportunities for positive publicity; collating success stories, case studies and ensuring national exposure through relevant professional bodies, awards etc. To manage the design and production of marketing material and corporate literature, to include copy gathering, editing, writing, design and print, e.g. annual prospectuses, posters, flyers etc, liaising with relevant staff and external agencies as required. Experience required: Experience of marketing and recruitment in an educational environment Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline or 2-3 years PR & Marketing experience Experience of developing and managing digital communication (including the use of social media) Experience of designing/producing marketing or communication materials in a variety of media forms Excellent written and oral skills Experience of producing reports and analysing data Experience of producing promotional materials Proficient proof-reading skills

Immediate start date on offer FT/onsite role in Teesside £47,000-£51,000 DOE Ongoing contract Head of Student Services role profile: To work with the Head of Centres, Deputy Head of Centres, Trust Leadership and the CEO to provide an integrated administrative experience for all users of our services. You will develop outstanding customer service strategies and respond promptly to urgent situations and changes in student demand. Head of Student Services key responsibilities: To be a fully participating member of the Senior Leadership Team To be responsible for the operational service delivery of the Student Services Department, ensuring that all aspects of the teams' work are anticipated and planned including optimum deployment of staff and space resources. Design the operational frameworks for the newly formed teams to deliver world class services. Be accountable for the internal auditing of student services records in line with DfE specifications and reporting requirements. To ensure that all the teams working in the Student Services Department, whether directly line managed by this post or not, are working together in a consistent and holistic manner to support the student experience. To develop customer service strategies to ensure that all the teams working within the Student Services Department continue to develop in our fast-changing environment. This will involve horizon-scanning for national and global developments, changes in national legislation and polices, and working collaboratively within the Trust and other central departments. To oversee the effective registration and administration of external exams To manage the college interview process and school liaison activities to include taster and welcome days. To ensure effective enrolment and registration processes. To produce reports and make presentations on behalf of the Student Services Team when required at Trust and College Level To work closely and collaboratively with SLT to ensure welfare and pastoral support services for students are proactive, coordinated and lead to students feeling safe, supported and able to complete their chosen course of study. To assist SLT to co-ordinate a cross college programme of Personal, Social and Health Education that raises student awareness of key themes and helps prepare them for life in British Society. To oversee and ensure key policies and procedures linked to Student Services are managed and effectively implemented e.g. student disciplinary policy and procedures. To devise, implement and manage the Student Voice Strategy, including overseeing the development and effective management of the Student Union. To ensure a wide range of enrichment opportunities are planned, promoted and delivered for Students. Essential experience required: Qualified to a minimum of undergraduate degree level or equivalent level of qualification, in a relevant subject area. Proven track record within the education environment of Student Services, Progression or Pastoral Services Effective data collation and analysis skills, and supporting academic teams on data areas around attendance, retention, safeguarding and behaviour. A proven aptitude for high standards of service delivery both operationally and strategically and an understanding of the student perspective. Reliable and resilient; able to cope with pressure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply skills and knowledge creatively in new contexts and to think beyond traditional solutions. A high standard of written and spoken English, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and presentations. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a broad range of people and clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. Tact, diplomacy, empathy and patience. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint and of a Records Management systems
