Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: £21.79

Main duties of the job

  • Provide dietary advise to malnourished patients including nutritional diagnosis, interpreting clinical conditions and creating effective care plans
  • Act as an educator to care assistants/ students also based in the service
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of their condition
  • Establish enteral feeding

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
  • Degree or equivalent in Dietetics
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Extensive experience as a state registered dietitian in the NHS
  • Ability to prioritise workload and set deadlines

Job description

The post holder will be responsible for the planning and delivery of Occupational Therapy within the designated area. Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence based/person centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
