As a growing leader in the manufacture of electrochemical sensors for life safety, commercial and industrial applications, they wish to complement their engineering team with an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for many of our production lines and the quality of the products produced.
The ideal candidate will be qualified in a relevant mechanical/electrical engineering discipline (preferably with a mechanical bias) and will bring with them more than 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and have the initiative to work autonomously in a small engineering dept.
Due to a rapid increase in demand for our client's products, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer to join their ambitious team.
As an M&E Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate cost estimates for mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects within the Facilities Management (FM) industry.
You will work closely with the operations and commercial teams, reviewing client requirements, preparing detailed tenders, and ensuring that all costings are in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate estimates for M&E services, including reactive and planned maintenance, refurbishment, and new installations.
The ideal candidate will be already experienced in the mechanics of perpetual inventory management within a dynamic manufacturing or warehousing environment, ideally with first tier automotive experience.
Already fully conversant with SAP with an understanding of Drawings / Pack Spec / BOM's
Take ownership of end to end inventory accuracy process performing both physical counts and system corrections
