Performance Management Officer Home based / NYMNPA & YDNPA HQ Helmsley/Bainbridge The North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Park Authorities look after and promote two of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles. We are now seeking a Performance Management Officer to join a team working across the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Park Authorities on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to provide outstanding support to our organisations in the management of two of the UK's National Parks. We're looking for someone who can manage, collate and present both corporate and environmental outcomes data efficiently, accurately and in an easily understandable way. All English National Parks are moving to provide more consistent reporting arrangements to help implement the national 25 Year Environment Plan, and this role will be at the forefront of driving these changes. The National Park teams are based in Helmsley and Bainbridge, North Yorkshire and the expectation is that the postholder will spend at least one day a week at both locations with the remainder of the week being home-based. The benefits - Salary - Grade D (£31,586 to £34,314) for a 37-hour week - Local Government Pension Scheme - 26 days' annual leave rising annually by one day to 31 days after five years' service, plus public holidays (pro-rata for part time hours) - Hybrid working options - Flexitime The role As a Performance Management Officer, you will help enhance performance across two National Park Authorities by analysing appropriate performance management and environmental data. You will use the technology available and work efficiently to integrate, simplify and develop better performance management and reporting processes to improve delivery of National Park purposes. Collating data to provide to the Government and the wider public, you will be responsible for the collection, maintenance and presentation of effective performance information.
