Responsible for all mechanical related engineering activities, meeting specifications, producing detailed drawings, and ensuring engineering best practice for the transformer business.
This role plays a pivotal part within the Transformer Engineering Team coordinating the activities for Mechanical Engineering, whilst working closely with Electrical Engineering and all other related functions to support the end-to-end process.
Oversee team activities, be a business point of contact, represent the team and stand in for the Mechanical Design Manager when required.
To deliver support to the activities of the Transformer Engineering Department, to meet forecasted delivery of Transformers and Engineering Department Objectives.
To design, prepare & complete documentation packages including drawings in 3D CAD & PDM for Power Transformers.
